Leading growth for a community of climate tech marketers & creatives- Rhythm
Business Context
Bettina and Melanie, founders of a climate tech marketing agency, were looking to unlock new business through different marketing channels including- social, newsletters, and slack community. They not only wanted to engage marketers who were inclined towards sustainability, but also engage them in a dialogue over time.
Results Achieved
We developed a two-pronged strategy to drive revenue-
Taking a founder-persona driven marketing strategy- The social channels were optimized for late-stage and international consumer brands. Mel and Bettina’s combined experience of more than 40+ years in energy and consumer space complimented the strategy and propelled growth of the channel.
Secondly, we positioned our thought leadership newsletter and Slack community for early and mid-stage climate tech marketers and marketing hat-wearing founders. We are on track for more than 15% MoM in organic growth.
Process
Firstly, the right mix of key channels were identified- long-form content, community engagement (Slack), and social media. Rhythm specially focused on incentivizing 1:1 and while delivering multiple interactions and engagements between community members.
Community
- Supported a bi-weekly newsletter on substack and Slack community of 1000+ climate tech marketers
- Contributed to the development of the community strategy (growth, promotion, engagement, monetization)
- Planned content creation and coordinated a team of writers to deliver content according to the publishing schedule
- Explore partnerships & collaborations with other communities and content creators
- Organize virtual community events
Social Media
– Led and executed social media strategy on LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram
– Adhere to the brand guidelines, tone of voice, and four-eye-principle for quality assurance
– Supported the wider marketing activities, including website updates, competitor research, and content creation
