ROLE
– Conduct risk assessments, provide training, and manage incident investigations to promote a culture of health, safety, and environment
– Monitor HSE performance metrics and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workplace safety and environmental stewardship
– Ensure full adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations, standards, and internal policies within the factory environment
– Implement and maintain HSE policies and procedures
– Communicate HSE policies, procedures, and performance metrics to all employees and stakeholders
– Collaborate effectively with various departments to integrate HSE considerations into daily operations and business processes
– Work with management to promote best practices and ensure alignment with overall business objectives
– Ensure that all environmental-related activities are monitored, risks assessed, and controlled to minimize the factory’s ecological footprint
– Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential hazards within the factory
– Develop, implement, and communicate effective control measures to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment
– Monitor key HSE performance indicators and metrics, preparing detailed reports for management
– Perform or support regular and systematic HSE audits and inspections to assess compliance with regulations and internal standards
– Conduct engaging HSE training programs for all employees, promoting a culture of safety awareness and compliance
– Establish and maintain robust emergency response plans and procedures tailored to potential incidents within the factory
– Lead thorough investigations of workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses to determine root causes
– Prepare detailed reports and recommend corrective actions aimed at preventing future occurrences and improving safety protocols
– Drive behavioral change through implementing programs and best practices
– Foster a culture of continuous improvement regarding health, safety, and environmental practices

REQUIREMENTS
– Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field
– Minimum of 15 years of experience in health, safety, and environmental roles within the industrial or energy sector
– Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations, standards, and best practices
– Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and developing effective control measures to mitigate hazards
– Ability to analyze HSE performance data, prepare detailed reports, and communicate insights effectively to stakeholders
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to conduct training sessions and engage employees in HSE practices effectively
– Ability to drive behavioral change and promote a culture of health, safety, and environmental responsibility
– Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required
