ROLE
– Ensure adherence to local, state, and national Indian fire safety laws and regulations.
– Support the property manager and team to Liaise with local fire departments and regulatory authorities to ensure proper fire safety approvals.
– Oversee the installation, maintenance, and operation of fire detection and suppression systems, including alarms, sprinklers, extinguishers, and emergency lighting.
– Ensure regular inspection and testing of fire safety equipment.
– Maintain records of fire safety drills, inspections, and any incidents.
– Develop and implement fire safety training programs for staff and vendors.
– Act as a key resource for emergency response planning and execution.
– Conduct fire risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
– Propose and implement corrective actions to mitigate fire risks in collaboration with the property management team.
– Work closely with the property management team, contractors, and external vendors to ensure proper implementation and maintenance of fire safety measures.
– Keep the management informed on fire safety performance and report on safety incidents.
– Possess extensive knowledge of Indian Safety, Health, and Environment regulatory requirements.
– Implementation and monitoring of HSE Policy, Objectives, Manual, Procedures, Risk Assessment, RCA, Waste Management, Hygiene at work.
– Document Control and reporting system for EHS management system.
– Preparation and participation in ISO 14001 & 45001 documentation and audits & Compliance.
– Conducts all training necessary to meet the requirements of government regulations, corporate policies, and location needs.
– Motivate and involve property management for effective implementation of EHS management system.
– Carryout safety inspections to observe the work practice procedures followed by the workers and to plan measures for reducing the unsafe physical conditions.
– Assist property management team for investigation of incidents and suggest remedial measures.
– Managing data & providing statistical reports to client regarding the performance of HSE Management.

REQUIREMENTS
– Extensive knowledge of Indian Safety, Health, and Environment regulatory requirements including NBC, BOCW, Factory act standards.
