ROLE
– Manage areas of the Records Management Compliance Program to ensure Target remains in compliance with our privacy and records regulatory obligations.
– Drive the consumer disclosure and deletion request process by analysing and authenticating incoming requests from Team Members and guests.
– Support department process development, improvement and maintenance to ensure timely, efficient, compliant and repeatable Records Management and destruction practices.
– Identify relevant metrics and prepare regular reporting or presentations to department leadership to support decision making, influence process changes, and track request volume and program activities.
– Establish and maintain key relationships within the Compliance & Risk organizations, with cross-functional leaders and business records contacts, and with external business partners and vendors in order to adequately manage and respond to external records requests.
– Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
– Four year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
– Previous retail operations experience and certification in healthcare records and information management preferred.
– Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to opine in meetings, establish rapport and collaborate effectively across departments and externally.
– Analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to leverage data to influence decisions, identify risks and improvement opportunities, and distill complex issues into actionable plans.
– Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining appropriate prioritization and ensuring adherence to deadlines.
– Ability to apply discretion and sensitivity while working with confidential information.
– Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively as a member of a team.
– Ability to adapt to change and navigate a dynamic, fast paced environment.
