ROLE
– Plan, organize, and supervise daily production activities to meet production targets.
– Develop and implement production schedules to ensure timely manufacturing of solar products.
– Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to meet delivery commitments.
– Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.
– Lead and supervise production staff including supervisors, operators, and technicians.
– Allocate duties and responsibilities to the production team effectively.
– Conduct regular team meetings to review production performance and address operational issues.
– Train and mentor employees to improve productivity and technical skills.
– Ensure all products meet company quality standards and industry requirements.
– Coordinate with the Quality Department to implement quality improvement initiatives.
– Monitor product defects and take corrective actions to maintain product reliability.
– Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency and reduce manufacturing costs.
– Implement continuous improvement practices such as Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen.
– Optimize workflow, equipment utilization, and production processes.
– Coordinate with the Maintenance Department to ensure machines are operating efficiently.
– Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed to minimize downtime.
– Monitor equipment performance and recommend upgrades or improvements when necessary.
– Work closely with the Stores and Procurement teams to ensure availability of raw materials.
– Monitor material consumption and reduce wastage.
– Maintain proper inventory levels to support uninterrupted production.
– Ensure strict adherence to workplace safety regulations and company policies.
– Promote a safe working environment within the production floor.
– Ensure compliance with factory regulations, environmental policies, and company standards.
– Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
– Analyze production performance metrics and suggest improvements.
– Maintain proper documentation related to production activities.

REQUIREMENTS
– Strong leadership and team management skills
– Production planning and scheduling expertise
– Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control
– Problem-solving and decision-making ability
– Excellent communication and coordination skills
– Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
– Knowledge of safety and compliance standards in manufacturing
– Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field
– Additional certifications in Production Management or Lean Manufacturing will be an advantage.
