Area Sales Manager – Modern Trade

ROLE
– Drive sales growth and achieve monthly/quarterly targets
– Manage relationships with modern trade chains and key accounts
– Ensure product availability, visibility, merchandising, and promotional execution across stores
– Coordinate with distributors, merchandisers, and internal teams for smooth operations
– Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and sales performance
– Lead and guide field sales teams to improve productivity and coverage

REQUIREMENTS
– 7+ years of experience in FMCG/Consumer Goods sales
– Minimum 4+ years of experience in handling Modern Trade accounts
– Strong negotiation, communication, and team management skills
– Good knowledge of the Mumbai retail market
