ROLE
– Monitor daily production processes to ensure smooth operations.
– Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and process deviations.
– Optimize cycle time, throughput, and equipment utilization.
– Lead trials for new processes or new product introductions.
– Work with Quality and Production teams to reduce defects and ensure product quality.
– Support root cause analysis for process-related issues.
– Evaluate process parameters to maintain quality standards.
– Analyze process data such as yield, OEE, downtime, and scrap.
– Prepare Daily/Weekly/Monthly process performance reports.
– Use statistical tools such as SPC, MSA, DOE, and FMEA for decision-making.
– Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma tools.
– Drive 5S implementation and sustain improvements on the shop floor.
– Implement automation solutions or process modifications to improve efficiency.
– Conduct operator training on new processes or process changes.
– Coordinate with maintenance, production, R&D, and quality teams for process stabilization.
– Guide supervisors and process operators in daily activities.
– Assist in managing shift operations when needed.
– Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and EHS policies.
– Identify process-related risks and implement preventive measures.
REQUIREMENTS
– Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
– Analytical skills with ability to interpret process data.
– Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and problem-solving tools.
– Good communication, leadership, and team management skills.
– Ability to work in fast-paced production environments.
– 3–7 years of experience in process engineering or production process roles.
