ROLE
– Plan, monitor, and control daily cell manufacturing operations to meet production schedules and output targets.
– Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.
– Implement lean manufacturing practices and drive continuous process improvements.
– Monitor process parameters and ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
– Work closely with QA/QC teams to reduce defects, scrap, and rework.
– Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions.
– Supervise, train, and motivate operators and line staff.
– Ensure compliance with SOPs, work instructions, and safety guidelines.
– Build capability of the team for handling advanced manufacturing technologies.
– Support new technology introduction and process upgrades in cell manufacturing.
– Collaborate with R&D/Engineering for process optimization and scaling.
– Conduct regular audits and safety trainings for the team.
– Maintain compliance with ISO, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
– Maintain MIS reports on production performance, downtime, and yields.
– Present regular updates to management on KPIs and improvement initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS
– Hands-on experience with automation, advanced tools, and manufacturing equipment.
– Problem-solving and analytical skills with exposure to Six Sigma/Lean methodologies.
– Leadership, team management, and people development skills.
– Good communication and cross-functional collaboration ability.
– B.Tech / M.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Materials Science, or related discipline.
– Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role preferred.
