ROLE
– Accountable for developing & sourcing of new cost-effective sources across the globe for various components
– Collection of data, evaluation & build the right engagement model with vendors
– Deal with new and existing suppliers and subcontractors, develop relationships, negotiate purchase agreements / rate contracts with them
– Do value engineering, use of alternate MOC to reduce cost & improve deliveries
– Ensure desired quality of products and services on consistent basis
– Review & prepare techno-commercial contracts, cost comparisons of domestic & international suppliers
– Collaborate with internal customers from other functions / engineering design team & buyers to understand their requirements
– Collaborate with vendor to implement improvement initiatives for vendor development
– Co-ordinate with quality team to evaluate / rate vendor’s quality performance
– Pilot order generation in SAP and tracking the performance till handling over to buying team
– Posses market intelligence to analyse the economic & market conditions that affects the price of goods & services required for industry
– Making reports & analysis
– Suggest alternative standardized materials that can optimize savings

REQUIREMENTS
– Degree: BE Mechanical / Electrical / Production
– Years of experience: 5 to 10 Yrs
– Required Knowledge: MS office SAP or ERP Power BI
– Required Skills: Negotiation skills Risk Management, Data Analytics Strategic Planning
