Assistant Manager – Sales (Gwalior)
ROLE
– Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets assigned by the company.
– Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, and retail partners.
– Identify new business opportunities and expand market reach in assigned territory.
– Conduct regular market visits to monitor competitor activities and customer requirements.
– Support the sales team in lead generation, conversion, and customer acquisition.
– Ensure proper product availability and visibility in the market.
– Coordinate with operations and service teams for smooth customer experience.
– Prepare daily sales reports, market feedback, and MIS updates.
– Handle customer concerns and ensure timely resolution.
– Participate in promotional activities, campaigns, and field marketing initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS
– Strong communication and negotiation skills.
– Good understanding of sales and market operations.
– Ability to manage dealer and channel relationships.
– Target-driven and self-motivated approach.
– Basic knowledge of MS Excel and reporting.
– Problem-solving and team coordination skills.
– Willingness to travel within assigned territory.
– Minimum 2–4 years of experience in Sales, Channel Sales, Territory Sales, or Business Development.
– Experience in EV, Automobile, Battery, or related industries will be preferred.
– Strong local market knowledge of Gwalior region.
– Experience in handling dealers/distributors.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
– Good interpersonal and relationship management skills.
