ROLE
– Production and verification of BIM models and civil drawings for selected projects
– Taking responsibility for technical quality assurance and client feedback
– Ensuring effective communication of any changes/modifications
– Proactively engaging with various regional offices/teams regarding safe design requirements
– Resolving issues and creating strong relationships with project colleagues
– Reviewing work and driving the culture of checking and accountability in the team
– Liaising with and assisting the design professional and BIM Manager
– Adhering to the schedule and quality requirements
– Working in collaboration with other design disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design
– Collaborating and coordinating with other disciplines to mitigate design challenges
– Designing Health & Safety management for the project works
– Developing BIM Execution Plan and BIM project workflow criteria
– Following BIM content standards and development procedures
– Preparing own discipline model and/or content for BIM Coordination Meetings
– Leveraging BIM software and tools as a methodology to coordinate design documentation
REQUIREMENTS
– Diploma/Graduation in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University
– 8+ years’ experience as BIM Technician
– Mandatory experience in Revit modelling for projects related to Water Supply, Wastewater and Industrial Effluent conveyance
– Knowledge of BIM tools such as Navisworks Manage, Autodesk Construction Cloud
– Experience with preparation of 2D drawings
– Additional knowledge of Autodesk and Bentley tools, such as Civil 3D, MicroStation, AECOSIM
– Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
