ROLE
– Putting safety first—always
– Conduct safety review meetings with project and design team at the initial stage of the project
– Promote workplace safety by performing site inspections, risk reports, timely safety-related corrections, and weekly safety meetings
– Coordinate with the project manager and operations manager to ensure that everybody will be out of harm’s way
– Create awareness and educate people and stakeholders on environment, health and safety initiatives
– Share success stories and best practices among project teams
– Mentor and coach safety officers and non-safety professionals
– Obtain and maintain relevant professional licenses

REQUIREMENTS
– At least 10 years’ experience in construction safety
– Safety license holder with a proven track record in providing safety trainings
– Knowledge of project safety systems, processes, tools and best practices
– Strong written and spoken communication skills
– Ability to identify and devise measures to meet stakeholders’ business needs and requirements
– Ability to build team relationships and interact effectively with business partners
