ROLE
– Lead certification for BESS in line with global standards through agencies
– Manage certification lifecycle from Cell to System level
– Ensure end-to-end quality checks across manufacturing, testing, and deployment stages
– Drive testing readiness including safety, fire, EMC, and environmental compliance
– Conduct gap assessments and ensure closure of non-conformities
– Collaborate with Engineering, SCM and Manufacturing teams
– Ensure alignment with Indian regulatory expectations including Central Electricity Authority
– Coordination with CFT
– Imparting training to all stake holders
– Handle SQA Vendor audits and responsible for reduction of rejection rate along with MSA, SPC section
– Acts as an ISO Co-ordinator for QMS & IATF audits

REQUIREMENTS
– Knowledge of fire safety & system-level risk mitigation
– Familiarity with grid-scale applications
– Exposure to UL / IEC standards
– Background in BESS, EV, Power Electronics, or Industrial systems preferred
– Strong coordination and regulatory management skills
– Certified IA Auditor for IMS or equivalence
– Willingness to travel internationally for project execution & site support
– B Tech/BE in Electrical/Electronic engineering or comparable study paths
– Candidate must have min 8 years of experience in Li-ion Battery
