ROLE
– Oversee the department in terms of monitoring multiple projects
– Manage people, skill mapping, and upgradation
– Ensure required training and maintain high quality of deliverables
– Enhance productivity and automation implementation
– Implement set department KRA and coordinate with stakeholders
– Resolve queries effectively
– Implement SOP/Checklist, department audit, RCA, and lesson learnt capturing
– Provide technical leadership in design of various equipment
– Understand requirements for drawings/mechanical data sheets
– Plan and implement improvements to the scope, quality, and cost-effectiveness of static engineering services
– Plan resources, oversee schedules, and site execution plans for multiple projects
– Evaluate capability and finalize consultants/sub-contractors
– Ensure design, documents, and detail engineering activities are completed on schedule
– Oversee closure of all Technical Queries Request, Design Change Request, and Field Change Request
– Coordinate with cross-functional divisions
– Approve vendor drawings
– Meet with vendors, customers, consultants, and third-party inspection agencies
– Prepare deviation lists by studying RFQ and tender documents

REQUIREMENTS
– Excellent knowledge of equipment used in distilleries
– Excellent knowledge of codes like ASME/PED/NR-13/API/IS/Admerkblatter/AS1210
– Experience with design software like PvElite/Compress/Nozzle Pro/AMETank
– Excellent knowledge of logistic and constraints
– Excellent knowledge of region-specific statutory requirements
– Excellent knowledge of Excel, Word, Power point
– Excellent knowledge of equipment functioning
– Sound knowledge of ASME section VIII Div. 1, 2, with U Stamp, PED CE Mark, CRN, NR-13, Dosh
