ROLE
– Conduct detailed site surveys and assessments for biodiversity and water conservation infrastructure
– Lead on-site execution of construction activities as per project plans and timelines
– Manage and monitor manpower and workforce performance, ensuring high-quality outputs
– Oversee project planning, estimation, budgeting, and execution across multiple sites
– Coordinate regularly with clients and stakeholders, providing timely updates and feedback
– Liaise with vendors and contractors to manage procurement and timely delivery of materials
– Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders
– Identify on-site issues proactively and implement solutions to avoid project delays
– Leverage technical knowledge in water management and environmental engineering to ensure sustainability and compliance
– Collaborate with field teams and internal departments to align execution with F4F’s long-term environmental goals
REQUIREMENTS
– Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
– 2 to 4 years of experience in a similar field, preferably in rural and environmental projects
– Strong project management, technical, and site management skills
– Ability to manage teams, handle field-level challenges, and coordinate multiple tasks
– Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills
– Proficient in MS Office tools and able to create professional reports and presentations
– Willingness to travel regularly to project locations outside Pune
– Passionate about ecological restoration, rural development, and sustainability
