ROLE
– Design and engineer switchyards, substation layouts, and associated electrical systems for solar power projects.
– Perform load flow analysis, short-circuit analysis, and relay coordination studies to ensure the reliability and safety of the switchyard design.
– Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, codes, and specifications.
– Review and approve equipment specifications for transformers, circuit breakers, switches, and protective relays.
– Conduct site visits and surveys to assess site conditions and gather necessary data for switchyard design.
– Create detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and documentation for construction and commissioning.
– Provide technical support during the construction, testing, and commissioning phases of switchyard projects.
– Troubleshoot electrical issues and propose solutions to optimize switchyard performance and efficiency.
– Keep up-to-date with industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices in switchyard design and electrical engineering.
– Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and participate in lessons learned sessions to enhance project delivery processes.

REQUIREMENTS
– Proven experience in electrical engineering design, with a focus on switchyards, substations, or power distribution systems.
