ROLE
– Identify and secure new business opportunities to drive company growth
– Conduct market research, develop strategic partnerships, and create compelling proposals to attract potential clients
– Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and support the successful implementation of new initiatives
– Develop and execute long-term strategic business development plans focused on large-scale projects and significant capital equipment sales
– Identify and pursue major business opportunities, including strategic alliances and partnerships for complex technical solutions
– Build and cultivate relationships with C-level executives, key technical decision-makers, and project stakeholders at target clients
– Lead complex technical negotiations and close high-value contracts for projects and capital equipment
– Develop and manage a robust pipeline of strategic opportunities for significant technical projects
– Provide insightful market analysis and competitive intelligence related to technical solutions and capital equipment
– Represent the company as a technical thought leader at industry events and conferences
– Oversee the development of comprehensive technical proposals, presentations, and contract documentation
– Collaborate with executive leadership, engineering, and project management teams to ensure alignment and effective delivery of complex projects
– Build and mentor a high-performing business development team focused on technical sales

REQUIREMENTS
– 8-15 years of experience
– Excellent technical aptitude and the ability to understand and communicate complex technical information
– Strategic thinker with the ability to translate technical capabilities into compelling value propositions
– Experience in business development, technical sales, and strategic partnerships within the project and capital equipment industries
– Proven track record of successfully closing large and complex technical deals for projects and capital equipment
– Strong network of industry contacts and relationships within relevant technical sectors
– Deep understanding of technical project lifecycles, capital equipment specifications, and industry standards
– Experience managing and mentoring business development teams focused on technical sales
