ROLE
– Support the design and development of mixed-signal electronic hardware for spacecraft and payload systems.
– Assist in schematic development, component selection, engineering calculations, and PCB realization activities.
– Support development of hardware involving power electronics, analog circuits, digital subsystems, and board-level interfaces.
– Participate in trade studies, part evaluation, and technical comparison of candidate components or design options.
– Perform hands-on bring-up, testing, and debugging of prototype and flight electronics.
– Use lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, electronic loads, and current measurement tools for validation and troubleshooting.
– Support test execution, data capture, analysis, and reporting during board-level and subsystem-level validation.
– Assist in debugging issues related to power-up, interfaces, noise, regulation, signal quality, and functionality.
– Work with senior engineers to review and improve PCB implementations for mixed-signal performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
– Support hardware integration in lab, cleanroom, and system test environments.
– Assist in basic checks related to grounding, cabling, connector usage, and harness interfacing.
– Help generate and maintain documentation such as test procedures, interface notes, design records, and validation reports.
– Support preparation of hardware for design reviews, integration, and release.
– Follow good engineering discipline related to configuration control, ESD handling, documentation quality, and safe lab practices.

REQUIREMENTS
– Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
– 0–3 years of relevant experience through full-time work, internships, research, or strong project work.
– Good fundamentals in analog, digital, and basic power electronics.
– Hands-on experience with electronics testing and debugging.
– Exposure to schematic design and PCB-based hardware development.
– Interest in mixed-signal hardware design and building real electronic systems.
– Familiarity with concepts such as signal integrity, timing, converter efficiency, grounding, filtering, and noise reduction.
– Exposure to protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, LVDS, RS422/RS485, or similar digital interfaces.
– Familiarity with standard lab equipment and debugging methods.
– Awareness of ESD precautions and good electronics handling practices.
– Strong learning mindset, attention to detail, and willingness to work hands-on in a fast-paced development environment.
