ROLE
– Ensure preventive maintenance is carried out on time as per schedule to avoid Electrical breakdowns, reduce downtime, and maintain safe and reliable operation.
– Troubleshoot electrical faults likes- motors, panels, drives, sensors & wiring.
– Handle HT/LT panels, DG operation, MCC, PCC, DBs, VFDs, contactors & relays.
– Assist engineers in new machine installation & commissioning.
– Support electrical modification during process improvement or trials.
– Follow Electrical Safety, LOTO & PPE’s norms strictly.
– Ensure proper earthing, insulation resistance & safety interlocks.
– Identify unsafe conditions and report immediately.
– Maintain daily work logbook, PM checklist & breakdown history.
– Support 5S implementation in electrical panels & work area.
– Support electrical systems of DG sets, compressors, cooling towers, ETP.
– Monitor electrical load, power quality and energy efficiency.

REQUIREMENTS
– Experience in Preventive, Predictive & Breakdown electrical maintenance.
– Knowledge of electrical automation.
– Understanding of earthing systems, insulation testing & safety norms.
– Familiar with electrical tools, testers, megger & measuring instruments.
