ROLE
– Design, test, commission, or operate utility-scale battery energy storage products or projects
– Prepare FAT and integration test plan for BESS systems
– Conduct technical review of documents provided by suppliers
– Manage projects throughout their life cycle
– Participate in tendering process and bid evaluations for BESS project investments
– Work with a team of consultants, project managers, technology suppliers, and contractors

REQUIREMENTS
– Experience in designing, testing, commissioning, or operating utility-scale battery energy storage products or projects
– Expertise in lithium-ion battery system design and testing
– Knowledge of electrical design of battery-based energy storage technology
– Understanding of civil, structural, and electrical designs of battery-based energy storage projects
– Familiarity with applicable standards, codes, guidelines, and regulations
– Knowledge of fundamental aspects and main characteristics of current battery technologies
