ROLE
– Carry out preventative and breakdown maintenance of tools, dies, and molds
– Fabricate, assemble, and fit new tools and components, including electrode manufacturing and polishing of core and cavity
– Resolve production issues related to tooling, such as dimensional deviations, wear, or damage during hot/cold processes
– Operate and program tool room machinery including lathes, milling machines, surface grinders, and CNC/EDM machines
– Use AutoCAD/SolidWorks for design modifications, maintain tool history records, and update PM logs
– Ensure tooling meets required specifications and tolerances
– Manage tool inventory, maintain safety standards, and ensure a safe working environment
