ROLE
– Putting safety at the front and centre
– Driving programs that help keep the workplace safe and risk-free
– Communicating and coordinating with facilities and safety managers
– Conducting risk evaluation and putting protocols in place
– Managing workplace incidents with a sharp and analytical mindset
– Accomplishing yearly compliance signoffs
– Providing leadership on all things related to environment, health and safety
– Monitoring opportunities for further improvement and implementing plans
– Training site teams and vendors in implementing a safe and healthy work environment
– Establishing open, constructive and collaborative relationships with personnel and stakeholders

REQUIREMENTS
– Clear-cut understanding of EHS requirements
– Degree in environment, health and safety management
– In-depth understanding of international standards in operations safety
– At least two years’ experience in developing, implementing and maintaining EHS programmes
– Ability to multitask and closely monitor programme rollout at remote locations
– Client-centric approach in service delivery
– Sound judgement and ability to see the bigger picture
– Superior oral and written communication skills
– Expertise in program management
