ROLE
– Develop and implement the company’s ESG strategy aligned with international sustainability standards.
– Support ESG alignment with investor expectations and sustainability commitments.
– Monitor environmental performance across solar and wind projects.
– Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, EIA approvals, and statutory clearances.
– Track carbon emissions reduction and climate impact metrics.
– Lead community engagement initiatives around project locations.
– Implement CSR and livelihood development programs for local communities.
– Ensure adherence to health, safety, and labor standards during project construction and operations.
– Develop governance policies aligned with corporate ethics and compliance frameworks.
– Monitor ESG risk factors related to renewable energy assets.
– Coordinate with legal, compliance, and operations teams for ESG implementation.
– Support ESG due diligence for green financing and sustainability-linked loans.
– Manage ESG compliance requirements from international lenders and investors.
– Coordinate ESG audits for development finance institutions.
– Prepare documentation for sustainability-linked funding.
– Collect ESG-related data from multiple departments and project sites.
– Validate, organize, and maintain ESG databases.
– Ensure data quality and audit readiness.
– Track environmental indicators like energy, water, and waste.
– Assist in carbon footprint assessments.
– Analyze ESG data and trends.
– Maintain ESG documentation.
– Support audits and regulatory requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
– Bachelor’s / Masters in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
– 8 – 10 years of ESG/sustainability experience.
– Strong knowledge of GHG Protocol, GRI, and BRSR.
– Advanced Excel and Power BI skills preferred.
– Leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
