ROLE
– Build deep B2B partnerships with Solar & Wind EPC players to become their de facto choice for storage solutions
– Undertake sales planning with actionable evidence / pipeline for growth
– Take ownership of sales targets
– Identify new use cases for storage solutions where existing products may be a good techno-commercial fit
– Take up validation / POC to establish value and rapidly scale new offering
– Work collaboratively with the Product Development team / Partners to translate market requirements / feedback into products
– Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, campaigns, and drive participation in relevant forums
– Collaborate on the creation of marketing strategies that resonate with the target audience
– Actively manage the Sales team including pipeline management, lead prioritization through a structured CRM
– Coaching and mentoring of Sales team to improve conversion and quota achievement

REQUIREMENTS
– Engineering undergraduate
– MBA or Masters in Engineering is a plus
– 8 to 12 years of proven experience of successfully delivering on sales targets
– Basic understanding of Lithium Ion battery in various applications is a plus
– Demonstrable experience of sourcing projects in the 25kWp to 1MWp range through non-tender route
– Existing network of relationships with Solar & Wind EPC players
– Ability to build relationships with B2B customers
– Appetite for relatively deep technical understanding of products
– Strong resourcefulness to work within constraints and still deliver
– Excellent written and oral communication
– Track record of owning and achieving / exceeding sales targets
– Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
– Deep understanding of the renewable energy industry
