ROLE
– Develop, implement, and maintain HSE Plans in line with corporate standards, applicable regulations, and industry best practices.
– Define and integrate HSE requirements into EPC, O&M, and other project agreements to ensure full contractual and operational compliance.
– Support the design, deployment, and continuous improvement of third‑party HSE Management Systems, ensuring alignment with company policies and regulatory frameworks.
– Review, assess, and formally approve EPC and contractor HSE Plans prior to project mobilization.
– Conduct annual audits of contractor safety plans, monitoring corrective and preventive action plans.
– Perform monthly HSE site inspections during construction, identifying risks, non‑conformities, and improvement opportunities.
– Lead and support near‑miss, incident, and accident investigations, ensuring root‑cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
– Analyze trends related to unsafe acts and unsafe conditions, developing pragmatic mitigation strategies and continuous improvement plans.
– Monitor and report on HSE performance indicators, proactively addressing emerging risks.
REQUIREMENTS
– B.Tech/BE in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
– Degree in Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or a related discipline.
– Proven experience in an HSE management role, ideally within construction, EPC, energy, or industrial environments.
– Strong knowledge of HSE legislation, standards, and international best practices.
– Demonstrated experience managing contractor HSE performance in multi‑stakeholder project environments.
– Strong analytical, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to operate both strategically and hands‑on.
– Fluent in English; additional languages are considered an asset.
