ROLE
– Assign appropriate security groups, distribution lists, and application permissions
– Enforce password policies, MFA enrolment, and conditional access controls in line with company security standards
– Execute standardized IT onboarding checklists to ensure smooth Day-1 experience for new employees
– Prepare and configure laptops/desktops with OS images, security tools, and productivity applications
– Verify network connectivity, VPN access, and email functionality prior to employee joining
– Coordinate with HR, hiring managers, and department heads to confirm access requirements
– Track onboarding requests through the ITSM ticketing system and ensure SLA adherence
– Communicate onboarding readiness and status updates to stakeholders
– Maintain records of access approvals, onboarding checklists, and asset allocation
– Ensure adherence to information security policies and audit requirements
– Disable user access across AD/Azure AD, email, VPN, and enterprise applications on the employee’s last working day
– Remove security group memberships, revoke sessions, and block remote access
– Ensure timely deprovisioning from SaaS applications and privileged accounts
– Coordinate with employees and reporting managers for return of laptops, peripherals, ID cards, and other issued assets
– Verify asset condition against the IT asset register
– Update asset inventory and ownership records
– Back up mailbox, OneDrive/shared folders, and local device data as per company retention policies
– Facilitate secure transfer of data to reporting managers or designated custodians
– Ensure no loss of business-critical information during the exit process
– Perform secure wiping, re-imaging, and device health checks as per data sanitization standards
– Re-enroll devices into MDM platforms for reuse
– Ensure complete removal of user credentials and data
– Update access logs, asset management systems, and ITSM records
– Maintain proper audit trails for deprovisioning activities
– Support internal and external IT audits
– Work closely with HR and reporting managers to complete IT exit clearance within defined timelines
– Provide confirmation of access revocation and asset recovery
– Escalate cases involving non-return of assets or security concerns
– Manage end-to-end procurement of IT hardware, software, and IT services
– Handle RFQs/RFPs, vendor evaluations, and commercial comparisons
– Coordinate with vendors for delivery, installation, and SLA adherence
– Manage IT asset lifecycle including warranty tracking and hardware standardization
– Ensure procurement activities comply with IT governance and cybersecurity policies
– Work with cross-functional teams to drive cost optimization and efficient vendor management
