ROLE
– Ensuring Zero SIF in the Terminal
– Ensuring to achieve ZERO carbon neutral facility
– Continuous risk reduction by educating people
– Creating a ZERO harm, ZERO pedestrian, ZERO Spill facility
– Leading the team in implementing the HSE Management System
– Monitoring safety standards and procedures in the BU
– Responding to emergencies and incidents in the facilities
– Organizing OHSE committee meetings
– Providing orientation & safety induction training to employees and contractors
– Making recommendations to BUH on the status of training and suitability of operators
– Establishing, implementing & maintaining Emergency Response Procedures
– Monitoring the timely submission of all reports and investigating work-related incidents
– Providing advice and support to line management on safe work practices
– Conducting risk assessments and implementing control measures
– Driving HSE training needs analysis in the BU
– Preparing training plans, coordinating/delivering in-house HSE training
– Maintaining training records
– Ensuring all assessment programs are up to date and followed
– Conducting safety inspections of work areas and preparing reports
– Ensuring the efficacy of all emergency preparedness plans
– Monitoring, collating and analyzing data for trend analysis & statistics
– Ensuring compliance with all Fire Safety related norms
– Organizing various HSE promotional programs
– Coordinating with local authorities and government bodies for mutual assistance during emergencies
– Preparing HSE plan year on year and reviewing it quarterly
– Preparing HSE budget with consultation of respective functions
– Rolling out all GHSE fatal risk reduction programs
– Escalating safety issues if not done in time
– Maintaining records of observations, corrective actions, and toolbox talks
– Monitoring terminal operations to ensure unsafe acts and conditions
– Verifying completion of corrective actions
– Verifying safety precautions are observed at work site by contractors
– Conducting safety training as per the Training Need Analysis
– Leading investigations of all incidents

REQUIREMENTS
– Minimum 10 years’ experience in the field of safety
– Worked as a Leader for minimum 3-5 years
– Knowledge of Warehousing Safety and Environment requirements
– Computer literate in Microsoft Office applications/Presentation skills
– Good Communication skills
– Knowledge of English, Hindi and local language
