ROLE
– Lead and execute micro-planning of direct materials to meet production requirements
– Oversee procurement planning and ordering of direct materials, ensuring timely availability
– Monitor and follow up with vendors for on-time delivery and adherence to schedules
– Manage sourcing, procurement, and delivery of indirect materials required for plant operations
– Supervise and streamline inward logistics operations, ensuring cost efficiency and timeliness
– Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers
– Ensure proper inventory management and coordination with production teams
– Identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvement within the supply chain
– Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
– Work closely with cross-functional teams including production, finance, and quality
– Lead, guide, and mentor the SCM team to improve efficiency and performance
REQUIREMENTS
– Graduate in any discipline
– Minimum 5+ years of experience in procurement and supply chain, preferably in a manufacturing or factory environment, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role
– Strong knowledge of procurement, vendor management, and logistics operations
– Hands-on experience with ERP systems
– Excellent planning, negotiation, and analytical skills
– Strong leadership and team management abilities
– Good communication and stakeholder management skills
– Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
