ROLE
– Oversee and execute satellite assembly, integration, and testing processes with a team of technicians and engineers
– Draft detailed, step-by-step mechanical AIT procedures and assembly checklists for technician implementation
– Verify and validate each step of the AIT procedures post-implementation by technicians on the shop floor
– Supervise all satellite environmental testing processes
– Collaborate with the production management team to plan the daily satellite production schedule
– Address and resolve any issues that emerge during satellite AIT
– Document the progress of the satellite AIT process and record observations during the inspection and validation of procedures after implementation
– Ensure the proper handling, storage, and tracking of all satellite components on the shop floor

REQUIREMENTS
– B.E./B.Tech/M.Sc/M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
– Minimum 3-4 years of experience in Mechanical Assembly & integration of components/products
– Excellent English communication skills
– Proficient in 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks and NX
– Hands-on experience in operating power tools
– Basic understanding of thermal control implementation on satellites
– Experience reading and interpreting datasheets, technical reports, technical drawings, schematics, and assembly/test plans
– Good experience with resource and production planning enterprise tools
– High proficiency in documentation and planning tools
– Understanding of electrical and mechanical integration concepts and processes
– Strong command of relevant tools
– Knowledge of ESD phenomena and best practices for prevention
– Certification from organizations like ISRO in areas related to Mechanical AIT of spacecraft and satellites is a bonus
