ROLE
– Perform CAD modeling and iteration of product designs
– Perform FEA simulations to optimize mechanical and thermal performance of products
– Apply fundamental mechanical engineering principles along with testing data to improve designs
– Fabrication of prototypes for design validation and testing
– Creation of engineering drawings to be shared with vendors
– Maintaining design and production documentation according to industry norms

REQUIREMENTS
– Good understanding of basic physics and mechanical engineering concepts
– Knowledge and hands-on experience on CAD tools
– Understanding of basic GD&T
– Knowledge and hands on experience of FEA tools like ansys
– Sound knowledge and practical experience of mechanical fabrication processes
– Understanding of product design lifecycle, including FMEA and DFM
– Knowledge of 3D printing and experience of slicing software
– Knowledge of quality processes implemented during manufacturing
