ROLE
– Hazard/fault identification studies e.g. HAZOP, HAZAN, FMEA, etc.
– Qualitative and quantitative safety arguments.
– Safety case development.
– Deterministic and probabilistic safety assessments.
– Engineering substantiation.
– Fault and protection schedules.
– Hazard categorisation and assessment.
– Safety case authoring/management/development/production.
– Engineering change safety justifications.
– Assisting in the production of bids and proposals.
– Implementing and contributing to safety initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS
– Bachelor’s or master’s Degree in a relevant subject.
– Technical practitioner able to demonstrate good engineering judgement and with extensive experience in using fundamental engineering skills.
– Record of delivering technically challenging projects.
– Experience in safety case production and/or hazard analysis.
– Able to produce and review/correct high-quality technical reports.
– Motivated and driven to meet delivery/cost targets without compromising quality.
– Awareness of their own technical limitations and using the help and support of others to deliver.
– Sound commercial acumen.
– Excellent communication, presentation and problem-solving skills.
