ROLE
– Create schematic, stack-up definition and do material selection
– Create PCB layout and ensure compliance with EMI/EMC, thermal, and mechanical constraints
– Select components based on electrical, thermal, cost, and reliability trade-offs
– Maintain schematic symbols, footprints, and library standards
– Perform root cause analysis for PCB issues
– Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers
– Implement cost reduction and continuous improvement based on field feedback
REQUIREMENTS
– Exposure of PCB design tools such as Altium, Kicad etc
– Good fundamentals in electrical and electronics engineering
– Exposure of testing and debugging electronics systems and PCBs
– Knowledge of signal/power integrity, impedance control, and EMI/EMC compliance
– Good documentation and communication skills
– Analytical thinking and solution-oriented mindset
– Detail-oriented and methodical approach
– Effective communication and team collaboration
– Adaptability and continuous learning
– Initiative and ownership of results
