ROLE
– Oversee the MRF operations in the city of Gurgaon
– Strategize and support both ZWP Ops and PRF waste handling
– Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sourcing and operations staff
– Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback
– Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team
– Resource backup planning, coordinating with contractors on the manpower requirements
– Team trainings
– Organizing Worker’s Committee meetings
– Oversee the purchasing process of waste materials, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality
– Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors
– Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers
– Coordinate internally to ensure MRF & PRF capacities are fully utilized
– Communicate the quality of material being sent to MRF/PRF to the sourcing team
– Ensure internal transfer between MRF and PRF
– Ensure efficient day-to-day operations of the waste management process
– Implement and monitor operational policies and procedures
– Coordinate with other departments to streamline processes and improve productivity
– Timely maintenance of machinery & procurement based on the requirement
– Cross-check and verify all operational documentation for accuracy and completeness
– Maintain and audit records as per regulatory requirements
– Monitoring MIS daily
– Submit the PnL on the 30th of each month
– Develop and implement sales strategies to meet organizational targets
– Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies as needed to achieve goals
– Coordinate with the team to get end-destination details
– Collaborating with the Plastics team to keep updated on the plastic rate
– Coordinate with an accountant for raising SO and invoices
– Plan to achieve the AOP targets
– Constant focus on cost optimization for better profitability
– Raise invoice & E-way bill in case of unavailability of an accountant
– Ensure timely Payments for vendors & service providers
– Reduce the negative Environmental impact of Logistics
– Audit of transport cost & their documents, rate negotiations with Transporters
– Arrange Logistics – Coordinate for dispatching materials and ensuring stocks are never superfluous at the facility
– Coordinate with the QEHS team for the implementation of 5S at MRF/PRF
– Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments
– Ensure a safe working environment for all employees
– Response preparation during emergencies and ensure the team is equipped to handle them
– Execution of special projects as applicable
– Testing and Implementation of New Technologies at MRF like IOT, sensor-based sorting, MHE etc
– Coordinate with external audit teams to understand the requirements
– Coordinate with QEHS & third parties for all the required audits
– Supervising all the audits and visits conducted at PRF
– Maintain ISO standards at the facility
