ROLE
– Lead and develop a team of engineers & modelers working on several complex and challenging projects in the North American region
– Support in developing functional area expertise
– Create opportunities to implement new digital approaches on your projects
– Independently develop methodologies and review methodologies developed by junior members of the team
– Coach your team on safe design processes and identify improvements in the wider business
– Ensure management and financial controls are in place across small to medium range projects
– Resolve issues regarding resources/scope/budget
– Delegate tasks and assign roles to team members to achieve the agreed project and organizational outcomes
– Enforce training objectives where appropriate to achieve organizational goals and objectives
– Adopt and implement industry best practices on projects
– Provide training, mentoring, and continuous feedback to first-time managers
– Collaborate within your team and other teams within GEC as well as regions to deliver
– Lead a team on various projects in line with client requirement
– Innovate to ensure your projects contribute to sustainable development and quality of life
– Liaison with other team members to produce good design solution as per the best design practice
– Build a profile in the industry and keep up-to-date with innovations and developments
– Comply with Arcadis business management system
– Drive Health & Safety culture of the business within the team
– Perform other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time
REQUIREMENTS
– B.E in Mechanical Engineering / M.E / M. Tech in Civil Engineering / Environmental Engineering from a recognized University
– 15+ years’ experience
– Sound technical knowledge, academically good
– Experience working on ANA Projects
– Led and delivered multi-disciplinary projects and established strong relationships with members from ANA teams
– Familiar with US codes, standards, and practices related to Mechanical, Civil and Environmental Engineering
– Awareness of software used for Piping and equipment modeling
– Exposure to Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants, Pump Stations, Process, Plant Hydraulics, Process Modeling Softwares viz, BIOWIN is highly desirable
– Exposure to BIM
– Good knowledge of Microsoft office
– Strong, self-motivated and assertive person capable of working under pressure
– Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
– Flexible to adopt new work/challenge work as per business requirement
