ROLE
– Identify and evaluate potential suppliers
– Negotiate contracts
– Manage relationships with vendors
– Oversee the procurement process for capital projects
– Develop and implement cost-saving strategies
– Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations
– Monitor supplier performance
– Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier performance
– Collect the machine requirement from respective department user and prepare the freeze technical sheet for order finalization
– Work closely with engineering, finance, and operations teams to understand their requirements and provide procurement support

REQUIREMENTS
– 3 to 5+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in a CAPEX or engineering environment
– Strong negotiation, project management, and analytical skills
– Proficiency in procurement software and tools
– Understanding of capital equipment and machinery, market trends, and supplier networks
– Attention to detail
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
– Ability to address and resolve procurement-related issues efficiently
– Time Management: Managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively
