ROLE
– Own, build, and nurture strong relationships with domestic and international suppliers across hardware categories.
– Continuously evaluate supplier capabilities, performance, and reliability to support Pixxel’s current and future mission requirements.
– Conduct regular supplier business reviews and maintain long-term partnership roadmaps.
– Lead procurement strategy across multiple satellite missions and development cycles.
– Collaborate with engineering and program teams to identify procurement needs, timelines, and specifications.
– Drive RFPs/RFQs, vendor shortlisting, technical/financial evaluation, and contracting processes.
– Ensure timely availability of critical hardware and components while optimising cost, quality, and schedule.
– Lead commercial and contractual negotiations with suppliers globally.
– Finalise agreements and close deals that align with Pixxel’s technical standards, cost expectations, and risk tolerance.
– Mitigate procurement and supply chain risks through proactive planning and alternate sourcing.

REQUIREMENTS
– Strong conversational, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
– Demonstrated ability to build trust-based relationships with vendors and partners.
– Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable owning processes end-to-end.
– Background in supply chain management, procurement, vendor development, or related functions.
– Experience in hardware procurement, especially in aerospace, manufacturing, electronics, or high-reliability components.
– Exposure to global suppliers or international procurement.
