ROLE
– Ensure high availability, performance, security, and scalability of databases.
– Manage and optimize SQL Server / Oracle / PostgreSQL environments.
– Lead database performance tuning, capacity planning, and optimization.
– Define and enforce data governance, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.
– Troubleshoot complex database issues and provide root cause analysis.
– Guide and mentor junior DBAs and technical teams.
– Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards in the utility domain.

REQUIREMENTS
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
– 8–12 years of experience in Database Administration.
– Knowledge of data modelling, ETL processes, and large-scale systems.
– Understanding of data security, compliance, and governance.
