Senior Engineer – Maintenance (Wind)
ROLE
– Monitor compliance of all asset activities with applicable HSSE parameters and policies
– Prepare and conduct regular TBT’s & training at site
– Coordinate for inspections, including completing documentation and conducting safety incident investigations when needed
– Ensure all company employees and contractors are adhering to the Apraava Energy’s safety policy and guidelines
– Accountable to continually reinforce safe behaviors and correct “at risk” behaviors in all team members
– Conduct regular Safety Audit to ensure the compliance of safety requirement and compliance are fulfilled
– Collect Input for Schedule – With the help of OEM and site asset Manager get the line/substation inspection done and collect the input for schedule preparation, material and resources planning
– Resources Planning – Material, Staffing planning according to the Work schedule
– Supervise & Monitoring – Closely monitor the resources, and the progress of work, any deviation or delay in the work highlight to the line manager for further planning
– Coordinates all field functions – for required outages and potential schedule changes if required, if any
– Contract Administration – Monitor and ensure all deliverables are in place for any activity for which any contract is awarded
– Breakdown Maintenance – ensure the availability of material, workforce to quickly restore the lines and facility
– Monitor asset performance to ensure compliance with defined business plan
– Ensure that work is completed in accordance with internal standards and site team following approved policies, procedures, safety rules, and in a manner that improve overall performance of the Wind Farm
– Ensure maintenance adherence of 99%
– Ensure 99% availability of 33 kV line
– Demonstrate leadership and manage the planning and direction of activities at multiple locations within the area assigned
– Plan, schedule, assign and direct work to the site team
– Take strong follow-up with OEM for maintenance adherence, resources and material shortfall
– Provide input to line manager on O&M Budgets required for the area of responsibility
– Responsible for the operation and maintenance of equipment Lines, VCB Yard, Pooling Substation and Receiving Substation equipment for self O&M sites
– Complete all applicable documentation and record keeping
– Respond to emergency situations at any hour of the day or night
– Demonstrate and enforce the highest professional integrity, ethics and safety discipline
– Prepare and report the daily, weekly monthly resource availability and work progress
REQUIREMENTS
– Expertise in handling 33 KV line and Substation operations
– Understanding of Contracting frameworks
– Commercial understanding of the functioning of the Apraava Energy business
– Negotiation skills
– 7-8 years of overall experience
– Specific experience of handling and supervising BOP O&M of wind plant
– Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage crews at multiple locations and multiple tasks on a daily basis
– Ability to organize and prioritize daily work and successfully perform multiple tasks with strict deadlines
