ROLE
– Understand the project drawings, SLDs, Installation designs aspect of primary equipment such as transformer, Circuit Breakers, CT, CVT, PT, LA, HT/C&R panel of substation and civil aspects
– Ensure all safety and environmental related compliances to be followed at site
– Execution knowledge of AC DC works of Solar Projects
– Ensure the construction work as per approved design and drawing for all phases of engineering construction relating to equipment erection and testing
– Plan and co-ordinate all aspects of the construction process with the contractors
– Reviewing of Site visit reports, suggesting rectification works, Implementation support, Commissioning, and system integration support
– Conducting weekly review meeting at site with contractors to assess the construction progress as per schedule and to understand the bottlenecks of various activities
– Perform all daily inspections and test of the scope to achieve the quality of construction indicated in the drawings and specifications for all works performed by the contractor
– Ensure the Erection, testing and commissioning of all electrical equipment as per approved FQP or OEM installation and testing guidelines
– Appraising construction, O&M according to the Project’s specifications and construction contracts
– Ensure HSE aspects of the project
– Provide advising critical activities, schedule updates, and related project needs
– Ensure subcontractor performance to comply with contract requirements and issue periodic alerts to contractors to ensure the construction quality of the project
– Review the project quality reports and punch list with appropriate mitigation techniques to get the compliance report from contractor for smooth handover of the project
– Providing technical guidance to contractors whenever required for re-solving various complications of site with the close interaction with HO team
– Ensure the proper co-ordination with contractors for submission of project deliverable on time
