ROLE
– Develop and execute strategies for the end-to-end procurement of e-waste and metal scrap from various sources
– Build, nurture, and manage a robust network of vendors and suppliers
– Lead complex negotiations for long-term supply agreements
– Implement a vendor performance management system to evaluate reliability, quality, and compliance
– Continuously scout for and onboard new suppliers to diversify and strengthen the supply chain
– Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key accounts
– Lead high-stakes negotiations to finalise contracts with buyers
– Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums
– Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, commodity pricing, competitor activities, and regulatory changes
– Use market insights to inform both procurement and sales strategies
– Provide strategic recommendations to senior management
– Work closely with the Operations team to ensure smooth logistics, processing, and quality control
– Liaise with the Finance team on credit terms, payment cycles, and financial risk management
– Ensure all commercial activities adhere to environmental, health, safety, and data security regulations
REQUIREMENTS
– Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
– An MBA is highly preferred
– Minimum of 6 years of combined experience in procurement/vendor management and sales/business development
– Existing and proven network of contacts among suppliers and buyers
– Proven track record of successfully onboarding new vendors and clients
– Expert-level skills in negotiation, contract management, and relationship building
– Strong understanding of global and local market dynamics for non-ferrous metals and e-waste categories
– Proficiency in Microsoft tools, ERP systems and CRM tools
– Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
– Results-driven with a sharp commercial acumen and a demonstrated ability to manage P&L levers
