Senior Manager – Human Resources
ROLE
– Lead and manage end-to-end HR operations at the manufacturing unit
– Ensure statutory compliance with labor laws and factory legislations
– Act as the primary liaison with government authorities
– Handle inspections, audits, notices, and submissions with government offices
– Manage complete HR operations for plant manpower
– Maintain healthy employee relations and harmonious industrial climate
– Manage disciplinary procedures, domestic enquiries, and grievance redressal
– Ensure accurate processing of payroll in coordination with finance
– Implement HR policies, SOPs, and systems at plant level
– Identify training needs for shopfloor and staff employees
– Drive employee welfare initiatives and engagement activities
– Support CSR and community-related activities
– Work closely with Safety and EHS teams to ensure statutory safety compliance
REQUIREMENTS
– Strong knowledge of Manufacturing HR and Industrial Relations
– Hands-on experience dealing with Factory Directorate, Labour Department, and Local Authorities
– Good understanding of Indian labor laws
– Strong negotiation and communication skills
– Ability to manage inspections and legal compliance independently
– Leadership, conflict resolution, and problem-solving ability
– MBA in HR / Personnel Management
– 10–15 years of relevant HR experience in a manufacturing environment
– Proven experience in statutory compliance and government liaison
– Exposure to handling shop-floor workforce and contract labor
