ROLE
– Undertake contract review and requirements for piping engineering and ensure design basis is in line with project parameters.
– Plan actions for project cycle including documentation requirements, resource allocation, schedule planning, and work assignment for team members.
– Ensure design, QAP, GAD documents, and detail engineering activities/ tasks are completed on schedule and in line with SOP and Praj’s Quality Management Systems.
– Manage bottlenecks and project risk related to piping.
– Man-Hrs. Estimation, Piping Activity Planning for project execution & preparation of DDI for Piping Deliverables.
– Piping Design Basis preparation.
– Work Allocation to assigned engineers & Modeler as per execution plan.
– Conduct Plot plan, Layout reviews, Model reviews & coordinate with other interdisciplinary activities to ensure smooth execution of project.
– Enhance skills of resources by guiding & training.
– Conduct Periodic Progress Review.
– Address & report important technical / procedural / execution matters to superior.

REQUIREMENTS
– Degree: BE Mechanical, Diploma in Piping or Mechanical Engineering
– Years of experience: 10-20 yrs Piping Engineering experience and leading team of 5-10 Engineers
– Technical:
– Understanding of Contracts, Risk management, Change management
– Core technical knowledge in the field of Piping Engineering
– Conversant with piping components & dimensions / material standards
– Conversant with Hygienic Piping
