ROLE
– Operate and maintain utility equipment including boilers, chillers, air compressors, cooling towers, HVAC, and water treatment systems.
– Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and breakdown maintenance of utility systems.
– Monitor utility parameters and ensure systems are running efficiently and safely.
– Identify faults, troubleshoot issues, and carry out corrective actions.
– Maintain records/logbooks of utility operations and maintenance activities.
– Ensure compliance with safety, EHS, and statutory requirements.
– Coordinate with engineers and external vendors for major repairs and services.
– Support energy conservation and continuous improvement initiatives.
– Train and guide junior technicians if required.
REQUIREMENTS
– Diploma/ITI in Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation or relevant field.
– Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
– Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
– Awareness of safety practices and compliance standards.
– Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.
