ROLE
– Work closely with the Executive Director and leadership team to develop and implement F4F’s partnerships and external engagement strategy.
– Identify and develop new strategic initiatives and collaborations that can unlock the growth of F4F’s programs.
– Build and nurture long-term relationships with philanthropic funders, foundations, CSR teams, climate-focused organizations, and other ecosystem partners.
– Represent the organization at conferences, convenings, and events related to climate, biodiversity, rural development, and ecosystem restoration.
– Develop partnerships with government agencies, research institutions, and other social sector organizations to strengthen program implementation and impact.
– Work closely with internal teams to translate program outcomes and impact into compelling partnership proposals and collaborative initiatives.
– Coordinate with the finance, research, and operations teams to prepare partnership proposals, concept notes, and program budgets.
– Maintain strong relationships with existing partners through regular communication, updates, and engagement.
– Support the creation of presentations, reports, and communication materials that help partners understand F4F’s work and impact.
– Continuously map and engage with the broader ecosystem of organizations working in climate action, ecological restoration, and rural livelihoods.

REQUIREMENTS
– Overall experience of 5 or more years in partnerships, fundraising, external relations, or business development roles.
– Strong relationship-building and networking skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
– Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to clearly articulate the organization’s mission and impact.
– Comfort representing the organization in external forums, meetings, and public events.
– Interest in climate action, ecological restoration, and rural development.
– Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple partnerships and opportunities simultaneously.
– Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and translate field impact into compelling narratives for external audiences.
– Fluent in English and Hindi; fluency in Marathi will be a plus.
