ROLE
– Identify, log, and track defects using defect management tools
– Validate application functionality against requirements
– Assist in preparing test cases and test documentation
– Assist in developing and executing automation scripts under guidance
– Support automation execution and analyze test results
– Contribute to improving test coverage
– Perform basic API testing using Postman or similar tools
– Validate API responses and understand JSON structures
– Execute basic SQL queries for data validation
– Reproduce and document defects clearly
– Assist in root cause analysis with developers and senior QA members
– Support retesting and closure of defects
– Work closely with Development, QA, and DevOps teams
– Participate in Agile/Scrum activities
– Continuously learn testing tools, frameworks, and QA practices
– Maintain testing documentation and reports

REQUIREMENTS
– Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related engineering discipline
– Work experience as Tester up to 2 Years
– Basic understanding of SDLC & STLC
– Understanding of defect lifecycle
– Basic understanding of automation concepts
– Basic knowledge of Postman
– Understanding of REST APIs and JSON
– Basic SQL knowledge for data validation
