ROLE
– Lead end-to-end system-level hardware architecture including design, manufacturing, assembly, integration, and testing of high-reliability electronics for airborne and space applications.
– Design power architectures including DC-DC converters, LDOs, protection circuits, power sequencing, and detailed power budgeting.
– Develop, review, and maintain schematics and PCB layouts for embedded hardware systems.
– Implement and interface RFSoC/MPSoC, FPGAs, MCUs, and SoCs with external peripherals; integrate and validate interfaces such as SPI, UART, I²C, GPIO, and PCIe.
– Collaborate closely with firmware teams to support hardware bring-up, debugging, and system validation.
– Perform comprehensive hardware testing and ensure compliance with quality and reliability standards.
– Create and maintain detailed technical documentation and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
REQUIREMENTS
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics & Communication, Electrical Engineering, or a related scientific or engineering discipline.
– 4+ years of demonstrated experience in electronic hardware design, development, and testing.
– Experience with microcontrollers and SoCs, peripheral interfacing, and communication protocols including SPI, I²C, UART, CAN, PCI-Express, USB, MIPI, LVDS, DDRx and others.
– Expertise in power supply design, including SMPS, DC-DC converters, LDOs, PMICs, and battery-operated systems with BMS.
– Advanced hardware and firmware debugging skills for effective troubleshooting of embedded system boards.
– Hands-on experience in SI, PI, and EMI/EMC–compliant PCB design, covering stack-up planning, impedance control, power distribution and decoupling, grounding strategies, and EMI mitigation techniques.
– Experience in designing schematics and layouts for RF circuits, integration for wireless modules is highly desirable.
– Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
