ROLE
– Assist in tracking and maintaining inventory levels, ensuring accurate record-keeping in inventory management systems.
– Support in conducting regular stock audits and preparing inventory reports.
– Help ensure the timely receipt and dispatch of goods while maintaining organized and labeled stock areas.
– Assist with the procurement of materials, supplies, and equipment as per company requirements.
– Help prepare purchase orders, obtain quotations, and track order status to ensure timely deliveries.
– Coordinate with vendors for product availability, pricing, and delivery schedules.
– Assist in maintaining relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
– Help in evaluating vendor performance and recommending improvements where needed.
– Support negotiations on pricing, delivery terms, and payment conditions under the guidance of the procurement team.
– Assist in maintaining up-to-date procurement records, including purchase orders, contracts, and invoices.
– Support the team in ensuring all procurement documentation is accurate, complete, and filed correctly.
– Help prepare reports related to procurement activities, including cost analysis and delivery performance.
– Assist in tracking purchase orders against the budget and help identify opportunities for cost savings.
– Support in analyzing market trends and pricing strategies to make data-driven procurement decisions.
– Assist in assessing suppliers based on product quality, delivery time, and cost-effectiveness.
– Help in updating the supplier database and identifying new potential suppliers based on business needs.
– Support in ensuring that all procurement processes comply with company policies and legal requirements.
– Assist in identifying risks within the supply chain and proposing mitigation strategies.
– Provide administrative support to the procurement and stores teams.
– Participate in team meetings, contributing ideas for improving procurement and inventory management processes.
– Assist in coordinating logistics for incoming and outgoing shipments.

REQUIREMENTS
– Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
– Basic understanding of procurement processes, inventory management, and supply chain principles.
– Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
– Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
– Good communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
– Hands-on experience in procurement and inventory management operations.
– Exposure to supplier negotiations, vendor management, and cost control.
– Practical knowledge of supply chain management principles and procurement software.
