ROLE
– Management of a project for the development and qualification of a satellite system
– End to end product realization process including design, integration, verification & validation, and transition to operational team
– Engineering and verification of system requirements
– Engineering trade study and compliances, technical trade-offs and risk management
– Subsystem selection, procurement and qualification
– Engineering configuration and change management and tracking
– Setting up reviews and planning milestones and gateways to track design progress
– Planning and reviewing Concept of Operations
– Management support of the activities of system Manufacture, Assembly, Integration & Test and satellite qualification, including that of the ground support equipment
– Interface with customers, subcontractors and suppliers as per program requirements

REQUIREMENTS
– Master’s Degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical/Electronics Engineering
– Minimum of 4-6 years’ experience in systems engineering
– A proactive approach, with initiative and ability to work independently
– Synthesize, summarize and draw conclusions
– Familiarity with space systems, including knowledge of orbits, LEO environments etc.
– Adhere to strict standards of confidentiality
– Work in distributed international teams
– Strength to cope with schedules and deadlines
– Excellent organizational and communication skills
