ROLE
– Include necessary calculations for earthing and cabling in all layouts.
– Design substation control room layouts, ensuring all electrical clearance and safety standards are met.
– Prepare electrical clearance layouts to comply with local and international standards.
– Draft detailed layouts for indoor and outdoor cable trenches.
– Design GIS building lighting systems and ensure appropriate earthing practices are applied in the layouts.
– Assist in preparing purchase specifications for the procurement department to ensure correct materials and equipment are ordered based on project requirements.

REQUIREMENTS
– Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
– 3-5 years of experience in electrical drafting, specifically for switchyards, substations, and power distribution systems.
– Proficiency in AutoCAD and other electrical design software.
– Knowledge of electrical layouts, SLDs, earthing, and cabling.
