Meeting assurance deadlines
CSRD, BRSR, SEC climate rules, and others are all moving towards mandatory assurance. Find your accredited assessor in 48 hours.
Satisfy investor requirements
Institutional investors and ESG-linked lenders increasingly require independent verification of sustainability claims.
Avoid greenwashing risks
Unverified ESG claims are a regulatory and reputational liability. Third-party assurance turns self-reported data into credible, defensible disclosures.
Build greener supply chain
Major buyers (retailers, OEMs, public sector) are asking for verified ESG data from suppliers. Get assurance on Scope 3, social impact & more.
Benefits over big consultancies
Most mid-market companies don’t need a bureaucratic and costly engagement. Here’s how to think about it-
| Big 4 / Large Consultancy | Growth For Impact Specialist | |
|---|---|---|
| Best for | Listed companies, multi-framework, multi-jurisdiction | Mid-market, first-time assurance, specific framework work |
| Time to start | 8–16 weeks (procurement, conflict checks, legal) | 48 hours to first assessor match |
| Cost | Fixed high-cost engagement, often six figures | Flexible- project, retainer, or hourly |
| Who does the work | Junior staff supervised by a signing partner | Senior assessor with direct framework experience |
| Framework depth | Generalist teams upskilled per project | Consultants with 5-10 years in GRI / CSRD / BRSR etc. |
| Industry knowledge | Broad but shallow per sector | Matched specifically to your industry |
| Flexibility | Fixed scope, hard to adjust mid-engagement | Limited assurance on KPIs or full reasonable assurance |
| Assurance / audit | Yes, full third-party assurance available | Specialist ESG auditors available |
If you’re a giant corporate preparing a multi-framework report across 12 jurisdictions with mandatory assurance- a Big 4 firm may be the right call. For everyone else, overpaying for brand name rarely improves report quality.

What clients say about our assessors
Our commitment
Most assurance failures trace back to one of three problems: the assessor lacked framework-specific experience, the engagement started too late, or the company wasn’t audit-ready.
We solve all three – by matching you with a specialist assessor early, and offering pre-assurance readiness support if you need it.
FAQs
Limited assurance is a review-level engagement – the assessor checks for plausibility and flags anything that appears materially misstated. Reasonable assurance is audit-level- it involves detailed testing, source document verification, and results in a positive opinion (similar to a financial audit). Most first-time reporters start with limited assurance.
It depends on your jurisdiction, size, and listing status. Under CSRD, large EU companies will need limited assurance initially, moving to reasonable assurance over time. California’s SB 253 requires third-party verification of emissions data. Many stock exchanges also require or recommend assurance for listed companies. Our ESG assessment quiz can help you determine what applies to you.
A typical limited assurance engagement takes 4–8 weeks from kickoff to signed report. Reasonable assurance engagements are more intensive and usually run 8-12 weeks. Timeline depends on the quality of your underlying data and how audit-ready your processes are.
Yes. Many clients engage an assessor to verify a specific metric (e.g., Scope 1 & 2 emissions) or a single framework’s disclosures, rather than the full report. We match based on your actual scope.
All assessors in our network are independent practitioners or firms with no advisory relationship to the companies they assure. We verify independence before every engagement to prevent conflicts of interest- a structural advantage over firms that provide both consulting and assurance.
Our assessors hold credentials such as CPA/CA, CSAP (Certified Sustainability Assurance Practitioner), Lead Auditor certifications (ISO 14001, ISO 14064), and have delivered assurance engagements under ISAE 3000, AA1000AS, or equivalent standards.
